Urania Simulator DOE Linear

We use this simulator during regression training and DOE (design of experiments training). It teaches students how to statistically demonstrate whether a relationship exists between two process variables and an output. This is the first step in demonstrating basic competency as quality and manufacturing engineers.

Urania Simulator DOE Quadratic

In production things don't always go as planned (or as the textbook says). This simulator presents quadratic responses and teaches students how to identify them and optimize processes that do not behave linearly.

Chatillon Tension Simulator DOE Mixture/Filter

This Simulator Teaches students how to optimize raw material compositions. These DOEs happen constantly during R&D and New Product Introduction. Also by having 5 machine variables this DOE introduces the concept of Filter Type (Plackett Burman DOE).

Caliper/Vernier MSA Simulator Gage R&R Crossed

Measurement system analysis involves both destructive and nondestructive testing. The Previous Mixture Simulator focused on destructive testing. This caliper simulator focuses on non-destructive testing.

Molding Machine Regression Studies

When engineers use new machines they often feel lost. This simulator demonstrates that a regression study can be applied to any process no matter how complex or inexperienced the engineer is. We also use this simulator for our Injection Molding Course.

Weight Scale MSA Validation

Packaging and shipping problems often occur when pass/fail inspection machines are not configured correctly. This simulator teaches engineers how to identify the minimum and maximum specification limits that guarantee product quality.

In this case, they configure the alarm limits of a machine so that it can identify when packages are missing or have excess material.

Engine Lifespan Simulator Accelerated Aging Studies

A more advanced simulator provided in special Minitab courses. This automobile engine simulator teaches Design departments how to determine failure points in their products using accelerated Aging Minitab studies.

Preventive Maintenance Simulator SPC Control Charts

Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions seek to eliminate defects before they occur. This simulator tasks students with identifying machine alarms so that maintenance can change machine blades before defects are generated.

Process Parameter Window Simulator Advanced DOEs

Troubleshooting involves detecting the correlation between your machine parameters and part defects. This simulator tasks students with identifying ideal assembly parameters to meet 3 separate quality inspections.

Simulator Complete Process Validation Certification Challenge

Training engineers on the proper way to run a validation is time-consuming. This simulator trains them how to properly coordinate department resources, plan samples, request quality inspections, write their own validation plans, and create process parameter windows.
